Louise Bomar and William Reid

February 25, 2015 By admin

John (Johnny) Thompson   Received “Rules for Entering Texas” yesterday from Mike Tripp, and it was a pleasure.

You mentioned terrific teachers at Paschal.  My favorite was Louise Bomar, Spanish.  It is because of her that I pursued the language at TCU and went to South America to work for Esso and practice it.  I liked her style; still remember the music she shared with us and made us memorize the words to.

Second favorite was William Reid, plane geometry.

But my favorite memories were Levis, helio long-sleeve or pink dress shirts, and dirty bucks.

And Fran’s poodle skirt.
